About the role
Egis is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead strategic human‑resource initiatives across its global operations. The role combines talent management, payroll administration, and employee‑relations expertise to support the company’s mission of delivering sustainable infrastructure solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business objectives into workforce plans and manage end‑to‑end recruitment for senior and critical positions.
- Design and deliver onboarding programs that embed new hires into Egis culture.
- Own the annual performance‑management cycle, coach line managers on feedback and under‑performance handling.
- Identify skills gaps, source training, and monitor learning‑and‑development programmes.
- Lead monthly payroll preparation, ensuring accurate capture of hires, exits, promotions, leave, statutory deductions (PAYE, NSSF, NHIF) and adjustments.
- Administer employee benefits including medical insurance, pensions and bonuses, and coordinate with Finance for salary reviews and expense management.
- Act as the primary expert on local labour law, maintaining compliant contracts, handbooks and policies.
- Conduct disciplinary hearings and grievance procedures, providing HR advice to managers and staff.
Required profile
- Proven experience in strategic HR leadership, talent acquisition and payroll management.
- Strong knowledge of local labour legislation and HR best practices.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive HR initiatives across multiple locations.
