Recruitment Specialist

About the role

PalmPay, a fast‑growing Pan‑African fintech, is seeking a detail‑oriented Recruitment Specialist to own the full hiring cycle. You will partner with hiring managers to attract, assess and onboard top talent that supports our expansion across Africa.

Key responsibilities

• Collaborate with hiring managers to define job requirements and workforce plans.
• Write and publish job ads on job boards, social media and internal portals.
• Source candidates via LinkedIn, referrals, job portals and recruitment events.
• Screen resumes, conduct initial interviews and coordinate subsequent interview stages.
• Maintain candidate data in the ATS and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Prepare offer letters, manage pre‑employment checks and support onboarding.
• Track recruitment KPIs (time‑to‑hire, cost‑per‑hire) and report progress.
• Build talent pipelines for future hiring needs.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or related field.
• Proven experience as a recruiter or talent acquisition specialist (in‑house or agency).
• Strong understanding of recruitment tools, sourcing techniques and interview methods.
• Excellent communication, organizational and confidentiality skills.
