Head of Commercial Banking

About the role

We are seeking an accomplished and strategic Head of Commercial Banking to lead the Corporate Banking function of a leading commercial bank. The role is responsible for shaping and executing the corporate banking strategy, expanding high‑value client relationships, and delivering innovative financial solutions that drive sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership to achieve revenue, profitability, and portfolio growth targets.
• Develop and execute business development plans to expand the corporate client base across Corporate, Public Sector, Financial Institutions, and Multinational segments.
• Drive growth of products such as Corporate Lending, Trade Finance, Cash Management, Treasury, and other value‑added services.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with key corporate clients, ensuring exceptional customer experience.
• Collaborate with product specialists and cross‑functional teams to deliver integrated solutions and increase cross‑selling.
• Lead and coach the Corporate Banking Relationship Management team, fostering a high‑performance culture.
• Oversee credit risk management, portfolio quality, and regulatory compliance.
• Prepare and present performance reports, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executive management.

Required profile

• Proven track record in corporate banking, business development, and portfolio management.
• Strong leadership experience managing high‑performing relationship teams.
• Deep understanding of corporate banking products and market dynamics.
• Excellent client‑facing and negotiation skills.
• Ability to drive revenue growth while maintaining credit quality and compliance.
