General Maintenance Level 2

About the role

The General Maintenance Level 2 position supports the engineering team at Four Seasons Safari Lodge Serengeti, ensuring all mechanical and electrical systems operate smoothly to deliver a premium guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Handle preventative maintenance of all equipment and keep logs up to date.
• Operate and maintain plant systems such as generator, reverse‑osmosis and sewage‑treatment plants.
• Repair motors, starters, breakers, chillers, pumps and related equipment throughout the lodge.
• Respond promptly to guest maintenance calls and emergency situations (fires, power failures).
• Maintain cleanliness of engineering stations, grease traps and plumbing areas.

Required profile

• Work collaboratively with co‑workers and supervisors, adhering to Four Seasons’ conduct standards.
• Report to work on time, follow uniform policy and attend mandatory health & safety training.
• Assist the Engineering Coordinator with spare‑parts inventory and support energy‑conservation initiatives.

Required skills

• Generator, RO and STP plant operation.
• Electrical and mechanical repair of motors, starters, breakers, chillers and pumps.
• Preventative maintenance procedures and logging.
• Installation of electrical and mechanical systems for renovations.
