Front Office Manager – Luxury Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the guest experience at Zanzibar White Sand Luxury Villas & Spa, a Relais & Châteaux member property on Zanzibar’s south‑east coast. You will be the welcoming face of the resort, ensuring every guest enjoys seamless arrivals, personalized service, and memorable departures.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the front office team, managing daily arrivals, departures, and guest inquiries.
• Coordinate closely with reservations, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Anticipate guest needs and resolve requests with discretion and warmth.
• Maintain high standards of service culture and uphold the property’s luxury brand standards.
• Manage front office budgets, reporting, and performance metrics.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury front office or guest relations management.
• Proven leadership ability in a boutique five‑star resort or hotel environment.
• Strong operational discipline and excellent communication skills in English; French is a plus.
• Familiarity with East African or Indian Ocean destinations is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a property management system such as Opera or a similar PMS.
