Front Office Manager

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Front Office Manager to lead the guest experience at our luxury retreat on Zanzibar’s south‑east coast. You will be the welcoming face of the resort, ensuring every arrival and departure is seamless and memorable.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and develop the front office team, fostering a culture of personalized service.
• Manage guest arrivals, departures, and special requests with discretion and warmth.
• Coordinate closely with reservations, housekeeping, and other departments to ensure smooth operations.
• Handle guest complaints and resolve issues promptly.
• Maintain accurate records in the property management system.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of experience in luxury front office or guest relations management.
• Strong command of English; French is a plus.
• Proven ability to work in a boutique five‑star resort environment.
• Familiarity with East African or Indian Ocean destinations is advantageous.

Required skills

• Proficiency with a property management system such as Opera or a similar platform.
