Front Office Manager – Boutique Resort

About the role

We are seeking an experienced, high‑EQ Front Office Manager to lead the guest journey at our boutique island resort. You will oversee arrivals, transfers, activities, spa and fitness services, and ensure every touchpoint delivers a memorable experience.

Key responsibilities

• Lead Front Office, Spa Reception, and Gym Reception teams.
• Manage reservations, check‑in/out, room allocations and billing.
• Handle guest feedback and service recovery with professionalism.
• Recruit, train, coach and motivate front‑office staff.
• Maintain SOPs and service standards across the department.
• Coordinate guest transfers, excursions and the resort’s activity programme.
• Work closely with Housekeeping and Maintenance to ensure villa readiness and resolve issues.
• Drive upselling of accommodation, spa treatments, dining and activities.
• Monitor KPIs, guest satisfaction, productivity and operational performance.
• Prepare reports and support budgeting and departmental planning.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years in a Front Office leadership role within a boutique hotel or resort.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Strong leadership, team development and communication skills.
• Excellent organisational ability and attention to detail.
• Calm, solution‑oriented approach under pressure.
• Fluent English; additional languages are a plus.
• Experience in remote or island destinations is highly desirable.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hotel PMS systems.
