About the role

The boutique Olzadia Boutique Hotel in Zanzibar seeks an experienced Food & Beverage Manager to lead its restaurant and bar operations. This senior position combines hands‑on service oversight with strategic financial management to enhance guest satisfaction and drive revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily restaurant and bar service, ensuring high standards of food quality, presentation, and guest experience.
• Manage F&B budgets, forecast sales, control costs, and monitor profitability.
• Develop and update menus in partnership with the kitchen team, implement pricing strategies, and launch promotional concepts.
• Control inventory, handle procurement, and maintain strong supplier relationships.
• Recruit, train, schedule, and motivate a professional F&B team.
• Ensure compliance with HACCP, food safety, health, and hygiene regulations.
• Utilise hotel systems, including eZee PMS, to generate performance reports and support strategic planning.
• Address guest feedback, resolve complaints, and continuously improve service quality.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of senior F&B management experience, preferably in boutique or upscale hotels.
• Proven track record in budget management, cost control, and revenue growth.
• Strong leadership and team‑development abilities.
• Excellent knowledge of food safety standards and compliance.
