Finance Manager – Manufacturing & Diversified Sectors

About the role

The Finance Manager will oversee financial operations to ensure strong financial controls, accurate reporting, compliance, and effective financial planning. The role is critical for strengthening financial governance and supporting strategic decision‑making across manufacturing, construction, real estate and hospitality units.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee timely and accurate preparation of financial statements, ensure regulatory compliance and present reports to senior leadership.
• Lead the annual budgeting process, develop cash‑flow forecasts, financial models and monitor budget adherence.
• Manage daily cash flow, liquidity, banking relationships and working‑capital requirements.
• Support production and operations teams with cost analysis, cost‑saving initiatives and profitability optimisation.
• Coordinate tax matters (VAT, PAYE, corporate tax, withholding taxes), ensure TRA compliance and lead internal and external audits.
• Supervise and mentor finance officers and accountants, collaborating with heads of Manufacturing, Construction, Real Estate and Hospitality.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field.
• Mandatory CPA or ACCA professional qualification.
• 5–7 years of progressive financial management experience in a diversified group or manufacturing/construction environment.
• Strong understanding of reporting standards and proven budgeting/financial analysis abilities.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel proficiency.
• Experience with modern ERP/accounting systems.
