Finance Manager – Full‑time role in Dar es Salaam

About the role

Shugulika Africa Limited is looking for an experienced Finance Manager to lead financial planning, oversee accounting operations and drive fiscal strategy for its Dar es Salaam office. This full‑time position reports directly to senior management and plays a pivotal role in ensuring the organization’s financial health and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and management of organizational budgets, financial forecasts and long‑term financial strategies.
• Oversee day‑to‑day accounting functions, including general ledger maintenance, accounts payable/receivable and periodic financial reporting.
• Ensure compliance with Tanzanian tax laws, statutory obligations and internal financial policies.
• Coordinate internal and external audits, manage financial risks and strengthen internal control systems.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field.
• Professional accounting certification such as CPA or ACCA.
• Proven experience in corporate financial management, accounting or senior finance leadership roles.
• Strong technical competence in ERP systems, modern accounting software and financial modeling tools.
