Finance Manager – Banking & Treasury Lead

About the role

We are seeking a Finance Manager to lead banking relationships, cash‑flow management and financial reporting for our Tanzania operations. Reporting to the MD & CEO, you will act as the bridge between the India accounting team, the local CPA and the on‑site accountants.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand banking relationships in Tanzania; negotiate credit facilities, working‑capital lines, guarantees and letters of credit.
• Maintain live cash‑position reports, weekly forecasts and monthly MIS dashboards for senior management.
• Monitor budgets versus actuals, flag variances with root‑cause analysis and review financial statements before submission.
• Oversee tax and statutory compliance through a local CPA, maintain a compliance calendar and coordinate annual audits.
• Supervise local accountants, set regular checkpoints and ensure clear information flow among all finance stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in corporate finance, treasury or financial controllership.
• Proven track record of managing bank relationships and financing projects.
• Strong understanding of Tanzanian tax law and statutory reporting requirements.
