Finance & Insurance Manager (F&I)

A leading automotive dealer is hiring a Finance and Insurance (F&I) Manager through its client, based in Dar es Salaam. The manager maximizes dealership profitability by managing vehicle finance, insurance and value-added product sales while staying fully compliant with industry regulations. The role suits someone with strong financial acumen, excellent sales skills and the ability to work with customers and internal teams in a target-driven environment.

Key responsibilities

• Negotiate vehicle finance with financial institutions to secure the best rates and terms for customers
• Present finance and insurance options clearly, explaining terms, interest rates and repayment structures
• Structure deals to maximize dealership profitability while remaining affordable for customers
• Sell aftermarket products such as extended warranties, service plans, credit protection, gap cover, tracking devices, anti-theft products and window film, and tailor packages to customer needs
• Ensure all transactions comply with financial legislation and industry regulations
• Oversee accurate and timely completion of finance and insurance contracts and supporting documents
• Verify customer information, including identity and income documentation, and keep it confidential
• Monitor and report F&I sales performance so monthly targets are met or exceeded
• Build strong relationships with financial partners, insurance providers and suppliers
• Train and support sales staff on new products and processes, and handle customer queries and complaints

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Accounting or a related field
• Relevant financial regulatory accreditation (e.g. financial advisory or credit certification)
• Minimum 3-5 years' experience in a Finance and Insurance role within the automotive industry
• Valid driver's license
