Drill Product Master

About the role

We are looking for a Drill Product Master to act as the technical liaison between the Sales Area in Tanzania and Sandvik’s product line/factory. The role supports sales, service and logistics teams by providing product expertise, handling warranty issues and driving continuous improvement of our drilling solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Provide accurate information on Machine Life Operating Cost (MLOC) for drilling equipment.
• Investigate warranty claims proactively and reactively, ensuring customer satisfaction and feeding back to the Service Manager.
• Perform second‑line root‑cause analysis and troubleshooting of drill products.
• Collect and record technical feedback from the sales area into the company database.
• Make recommendations based on analysis to improve customer service and internal processes.
• Adjust and calibrate systems on client equipment as required.
• Collaborate closely with Key Account Managers, Service Managers, Logistics, Order Desks and Equipment Business Line Managers.

Required profile

• Technical background in drilling equipment or related heavy‑industry machinery.
• Experience working in a sales‑support or product‑management function within the mining or construction sector.
• Strong analytical skills for cost calculations and root‑cause investigations.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Proactive attitude towards continuous improvement and customer satisfaction.
