Country People Lead – Tanzania

About the role

The Country People Lead is the senior HR leader for Tanzania Breweries, responsible for shaping and delivering the people agenda across the country. Reporting to the country leadership team, this role partners closely with business leaders to translate strategy into people‑focused solutions that drive growth, culture, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with the Country Leadership Team to develop and execute people strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Provide strategic counsel on organizational design, workforce planning, leadership effectiveness, and change management.
• Lead the implementation of the People Cycle, talent management, succession planning, and leadership development initiatives.
• Consolidate talent insights to support workforce planning and future capability needs.
• Ensure compliance with all people‑related policies, legislation, and internal standards.
• Drive a culture of accountability, high performance, and continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Proven senior HR leadership experience, preferably in consumer goods or a similar industry.
• Strong business partnership skills with the ability to influence senior leaders.
• Track record of building organizational capability, strengthening culture, and delivering measurable business outcomes.
• Experience managing HR functions across a country or multi‑site environment.
• Excellent communication and change‑management abilities.
