Country Manager – Tanzania

About the role

The Country Manager will lead Core Laboratories’ operations in Tanzania, ensuring profitability, regulatory compliance, and high‑quality service delivery. Reporting to Area Management, the role acts as the primary link between the local team and regional leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily inspection, laboratory, and administrative functions.
• Manage the local P&L, prepare financial reports, and control budgets.
• Supervise, develop, and evaluate staff; ensure training and safety compliance.
• Maintain adherence to Core Laboratories policies, local laws, and industry standards; prepare for audits.
• Build client relationships, identify business development opportunities, and drive commercial strategy.
• Provide regular performance, risk, and growth reports to Area Management.
• Promote HSE standards and sustainability practices.
• Contribute to local strategy aligned with regional objectives and represent the company to clients, authorities, and stakeholders.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in chemistry, business, engineering, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of managerial experience in TIC, oil & gas, or a related sector.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
• Fluent English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
• Experience using reporting tools such as Power BI.
