CNG Technology Expert

About the role

We are seeking a CNG Technology Expert to lead on‑ground technical operations, vehicle conversions and supply coordination for our projects in Tanzania. The role is based in Dar es Salaam and involves hands‑on work with compressed natural gas (CNG) systems, ensuring safety, quality and efficient delivery of conversion kits.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary technical contact in Tanzania, coordinating all on‑site technical activities.
• Perform technical inspections of vehicles, components and installations to verify compliance with safety and quality standards.
• Provide direct technical support for CNG vehicle conversions, guiding workshop teams through the process.
• Assist in the establishment, equipping and commissioning of CNG conversion stations.
• Manage procurement, shipping, customs clearance and local delivery of CNG conversion kits.

Required profile

• Proven hands‑on experience with CNG systems and vehicle conversion projects.
• Ability to inspect conversion work and uphold technical standards.
• Experience setting up automotive or conversion workshops or stations.
• Strong coordination and logistics capabilities for kit procurement and delivery within Tanzania.
• Willingness and ability to work on the ground in Dar es Salaam.
