Cash Product Manager

About the role

The Cash Product Manager will lead the strategic direction and operational management of Cash, Trade, and Working Capital products at Standard Chartered. This role aligns product development with the bank’s Transaction Banking objectives and delivers outstanding value to a diverse client base.

Key responsibilities

• Formulate and implement strategic product objectives for Cash, Trade, and Working Capital lines, monitoring financial and non‑financial performance.
• Conduct in‑depth market research and analysis of customer behaviour, competitor offerings, and industry trends to refine product strategy.
• Maintain rigorous documentation and governance of product processes, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
• Lead end‑to‑end product lifecycle management, from strategic planning to commercialisation and decommissioning.
• Promote client‑focused innovation through agile methodologies and co‑creation with internal and external stakeholders.
• Oversee product profitability by optimising revenue streams and managing operational costs.
• Develop and execute strategic plans that support timely product launches and market adoption.
• Drive cross‑functional partnerships to implement process improvements and enhance client experience.
• Manage product budgets, revenue growth, client acquisition, liability gathering, and expense controls.

• Experience aligning product strategy with global banking objectives.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to monitor financial performance and key metrics.
