Brewing Technical Expert

About the role

The Brewing Technical Expert will lead continuous and sustainable improvements in product quality across the value chain. Working within the VPO framework, the role ensures manufacturing processes meet AB InBev standards while driving innovation and optimization.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with GTS and AB InBev standards.
• Control and implement Brewing Technical Manuals and PTS.
• Conduct process audits and maintain quality governance.
• Execute VPO implementation plans applying the 7 VPO pillars.
• Provide feedback to Brewing Manager and zone coordinators.
• Lead problem‑solving sessions, verify corrective actions, and follow OWS triggers.
• Support product and process optimization through CAPin, VA, and CAPEX projects.
• Audit area standards for quality, process, and work practices.
• Control fixed and variable costs, minimize waste, and ensure maintenance integrity.
• Promote a safe, healthy, and collaborative industrial relations climate.

Required profile

• Higher degree in Process Engineering, Biological Sciences, Chemistry, or Chemical & Food Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in brewing or related manufacturing environments.
• Strong understanding of VPO methodology.
• Excellent communication, proactive attitude, and ability to mentor others.
• Fluent in English; women applicants are encouraged.
