Block Production Plant Manager

About the role

The Block Production Plant Manager oversees daily operations of a concrete block, paver, and kerbstone manufacturing plant. The role ensures efficient production, high product quality, and compliance with safety standards while meeting production targets.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, organize and supervise daily block production activities, ensuring targets are met.
• Monitor batching, mixing, moulding, curing, stacking and dispatch preparation, following approved mix designs.
• Inspect finished products for strength, size, shape, finish and curing compliance.
• Oversee operation and preventive maintenance of block‑making machines, mixers, conveyors, moulds, forklifts and compressors.
• Track raw material stock (cement, sand, aggregates, additives) and minimize wastage.
• Supervise operators, loaders, production supervisors and ensure discipline, attendance and productivity.
• Enforce health, safety and housekeeping procedures, including PPE use and safe material handling.
