Assistant Lecturer

About the role

We are seeking an Assistant Lecturer to join our team at UNIQUE ACADEMY LIMITED in Dar es Salaam. In this full‑time, on‑site position you will support senior faculty in delivering high‑quality lectures and providing academic assistance to our students.

Key responsibilities

• Assist senior lecturers in preparing and delivering course lectures.
• Develop and organize course materials, including presentations and handouts.
• Grade assignments, exams, and provide constructive feedback.
• Offer academic support and guidance to students.
• Participate in curriculum development initiatives.
• Contribute to the academic community through research and scholarly activities.

Required profile

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, or a related field.
• Strong presentation and communication abilities.
• Knowledge of educational theories and best practices.
• Experience in conducting research and academic writing.
• Previous teaching or tutoring experience.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Familiarity with educational technology tools.
