Assistant Director of Finance

About the role

The Assistant Director of Finance will support the Director of Finance in overseeing all financial activities for a 5‑star hotel brand. This role combines strategic analysis, reporting, and operational control to ensure accurate financial performance and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct financial analysis, prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports.
• Manage audit, cash controls and ensure compliance with legal and accounting standards.
• Develop and implement cost‑cutting initiatives and proactive financial solutions.
• Create financial statements for clients and senior management.
• Assist the Director of Finance with budgeting and forecasting.
• Prepare filing and tax documentation.
• Work with the finance team to design internal controls and policies.
• Collaborate with IT to maintain financial records and system processes.
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in financial records.

Required profile

• Degree in Accounting.
• Minimum four years of experience in a 5‑star hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
• High ethical standards, integrity and strategic thinking.
• Proven experience leading a team.
