Arusha FMCG Sales Specialist

About the role

The Arusha FMCG Sales Specialist will drive sales growth and expand market presence across Arusha and its surrounding areas. You will develop new customer relationships, manage existing accounts, and ensure product availability and visibility throughout the territory.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales activities to meet assigned targets.
• Identify and acquire new customers, distributors, wholesalers, retailers, and key accounts.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and follow up on orders.
• Ensure timely delivery and proper product display at customer outlets.
• Promote products to increase visibility within the assigned territory.
• Conduct regular market visits to uncover new business opportunities.
• Monitor competitors, market trends, pricing, promotions, and customer preferences.
• Handle customer complaints and coordinate resolution with relevant teams.
• Follow up on outstanding payments and support receivables management.
• Prepare accurate sales, order, and market activity reports and take corrective actions when needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or related field.
• Minimum 3 years of FMCG sales experience with a proven track record of achieving targets.
• Strong knowledge of the Arusha FMCG market and customer networks.
• Experience working with distributors, wholesalers, retailers or key accounts.
• Fluent in English and Kiswahili.
• Willingness to travel regularly within Arusha and surrounding areas.
• Valid driving licence is an advantage.
