Accountant Intern – Finance Support Role

About the role

Baridi Baridi Tanzania, Inc. is looking for a motivated Accountant Intern to join its finance team in Dar es Salaam. This full‑time internship offers hands‑on experience in daily accounting operations and administrative support.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in day‑to‑day bookkeeping, posting financial entries and organizing records.
• Support bank and supplier reconciliations, process invoices and manage petty‑cash documentation.
• Maintain filing systems for tax records, audit trails and other financial documents to ensure compliance.
• Provide general office administration assistance, prepare basic reports and support cross‑functional tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, Corporate Finance or a related field.
• Strong attention to detail, eagerness to learn and good communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications.
• Experience with modern accounting software or ERP systems.
