Assistant Sales Representative – Mwanza

About the role

The Assistant Sales Representative will support Mapinga Premium Foods Limited’s sales and distribution activities in Mwanza. The role involves visiting assigned customer outlets, taking orders, ensuring product availability and visibility, and helping achieve daily and monthly sales targets.

Key responsibilities

• Visit assigned customer outlets daily according to the allocated route and sales plan.
• Develop new customers while maintaining strong relationships with existing ones.
• Take customer orders and ensure timely and accurate order execution.
• Ensure Cheche Crisps products are available, properly displayed, and visible at customer outlets.
• Monitor shelf availability, support placement and recovery of company shelves, and enforce merchandising standards.
• Follow company policies on cash, stock, and customer transactions and maintain accurate route records.

Required profile

• Form Four education or above.
• Valid Class A2 driving licence.
• Previous experience in sales, FMCG, distribution, or field marketing (preferred).
• Good knowledge of Mwanza markets and surrounding areas.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to work independently and achieve targets.
• Honest, disciplined, energetic, and reliable.
• Ability to use a smartphone for reporting and sales‑related activities.
