Tendering & Price Sourcing Officer

About the role

We are seeking a sharp, hardworking, and detail‑oriented Tendering & Price Sourcing Officer to support Innovo in identifying tender opportunities, sourcing competitive prices locally and internationally, and preparing complete bidding documents.

Key responsibilities

• Collect accurate and competitive prices from local markets (Kariakoo, Dar es Salaam) and overseas suppliers via email, WhatsApp, Alibaba, Global Sources, and manufacturer websites.
• Request formal quotations, product specifications, brochures, delivery timelines, and payment terms; compare offers and produce price analyses for management.
• Negotiate prices and terms to ensure competitive bids.
• Maintain a database of reliable suppliers.
• Read and analyse tender documents, prepare bid forms, price schedules, compliance sheets, company profiles, technical responses, and administrative documents.
• Ensure all tender submissions are complete, signed, stamped, and submitted in the required format (physical or electronic).
• Verify supplier credibility, product specifications, certifications, and warranty terms before recommendation.

Required profile

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
• Experience in market research, price sourcing, and tender preparation.
• Good negotiation skills and ability to communicate with both local and international suppliers.
• Organised, capable of maintaining accurate records and databases.
