About the role
Oman Air is seeking a motivated Reservation & Ticketing Agent to join its Dar es Salaam team. You will be the first point of contact for passengers and travel agents, handling ticketing, reservations and telephone sales while delivering a high‑standard customer experience.
Key responsibilities
- Manage inbound calls promptly, courteously and professionally.
- Provide reservation, ticketing and sales support to Oman Air passengers and travel agents.
- Collaborate with R&T supervisors, sales teams, district sales managers and country managers to support commercial activities.
- Coordinate with airport teams to minimise service disruptions and provide technical assistance.
- Follow up with internal departments on business‑continuity issues.
- Support additional sales activities such as schedule changes, BSP refunds, frequent‑flyer activation, EC261 assistance, group bookings and post‑flight feedback.
- Perform any other duties assigned by management.
Required profile
- Two‑year college diploma in any discipline OR an IATA/Sabre/Galileo/Amadeus certification with a secondary school certificate.
- Proficient spoken and written English; additional language skills are a plus.
Required skills
- Advanced knowledge of Global Distribution Systems (Sabre, Galileo, Amadeus) and IATA regulations.
- Proficiency in MS Office applications.
