Site Engineer (Telecom)

About the role

The company is seeking a qualified Site Engineer to lead telecom infrastructure projects on the ground. You will work closely with the Project Director and Engineering Manager to ensure that all site activities meet technical standards and project timelines.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive site surveys at project launch, following PD/EM guidelines.
• Verify quantity and quality of incoming telecom equipment against packing lists.
• Supervise subcontractor installers, ensuring compliance with ZTE equipment installation standards.
• Collaborate with PD/EM and customer engineers to complete final project acceptance testing.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
• Proven experience in telecom site engineering, hardware installation or site supervision; experience with ZTE equipment is a plus.
• Fluent in Swahili and professional proficiency in English (written and spoken).
• Strong sense of responsibility, quality awareness and effective communication skills.
