Security Officer

About the role

The Security Officer is a key member of the Security Department at Four Seasons Serengeti Lodge. You will help protect guests, employees, and property while ensuring that all security standards are consistently met.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular security patrols throughout the lodge and surrounding wildlife reserve.
• Collaborate with the Security Supervisor, Assistant Manager Safety & Loss Prevention, and Director of Safety & Loss Prevention on daily operations and special projects.
• Apply and enforce all security policies and procedures (P&Ps) across the property.
• Monitor and respond to incidents, ensuring the safety of guests and staff.
• Maintain accurate logs and reports of security activities.

Required profile

• Demonstrated commitment to protecting life, safety, and physical assets.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote, wildlife environment.
• Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
• Willingness to follow established security protocols and adapt to evolving situations.

Required skills

• Knowledge of security policies and procedures.
• Experience with routine patrols and incident reporting.
