Nurse – Hematology Clinic (Dar es Salaam)

About the role

We are looking for a compassionate Nurse with a diploma qualification to join our hematology clinic in Dar es Salaam. The successful candidate will support patient care, assist with diagnostic and treatment procedures, and help maintain safe and efficient clinic operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients undergoing hematology consultations, treatments, and follow‑up.
• Assist clinicians with procedures such as blood collection, transfusion preparation, and patient monitoring.
• Handle, label, and document laboratory specimens accurately.
• Monitor patient vital signs and promptly report any changes to the clinical team.
• Maintain accurate patient records to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medication use, and follow‑up requirements.
• Uphold infection prevention and control standards within the clinic.

Required profile

• Diploma in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Valid nursing license registered with the Tanzania Nursing and Midwifery Council.
• Experience in hematology, laboratory, oncology, or medical clinic settings is an advantage.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with clinicians and laboratory teams.
• Based in Dar es Salaam or willing to relocate.
• Commitment to patient‑centered care and professional conduct.
