Marketing Execution Manager – Africa (Dar es Salaam)

About the role

The client, a large international pharmaceutical organization, is expanding its Africa business and seeks a Marketing Execution Manager to be based in Dar es Salaam, Tanzania. The role will bridge central marketing strategy with regional execution, supporting product launches and sales performance across the market.

Key responsibilities

• Drive new product launches and execute launch strategies in alignment with the central marketing team.
• Provide local market insights to shape effective marketing mixes and tailor strategies to local dynamics.
• Manage existing product lines, focusing on brand visibility, establishment and growth.
• Support sales teams to achieve market share and budget targets through strong commercial execution.
• Conduct market assessments, surveys and competitor analyses to uncover new opportunities.
• Train the sales force on product promotion, clinical presentation and brand positioning.
• Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and customers to refine marketing strategies.

Required profile

• Graduate degree in Science or Pharmacy; MBA preferred but not mandatory.
• Minimum 5 years of product management experience within the pharmaceutical industry.
• Prior work experience in African markets is highly desirable.
