Interior Styling and Hotel Presentation Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Interior Styling and Hotel Presentation Manager to lead the visual and guest‑experience standards at our boutique hotel in Zanzibar. The role combines hands‑on styling, guest interaction and coordination with the operations team to ensure every touchpoint reflects our brand’s atmosphere.

Key responsibilities

• Act as a warm, visible host during dinner events, greeting guests, learning names and preferences, and creating a relaxed atmosphere.
• Conduct regular walkthroughs of rooms, villas and public areas, identifying worn furnishings or décor and proposing updates that align with the hotel’s style.
• Source, select and oversee the installation of new lighting, artwork, cushions, and accessories after approval.
• Ensure food and beverage presentation meets visual standards, flagging issues and collaborating with kitchen staff on plating, garnish and timing.
• Maintain uniform, table linen, cushion, candle and lighting standards, noting when items need replacement or tailoring.
• Serve as the internal reference for brand consistency across interior styling, guest interaction tone and food presentation, training staff by example.

Required profile

• Warm, confident and observant personality with a strong eye for aesthetics.
• Comfortable engaging one‑on‑one with guests and remembering details.
• Calm, tasteful demeanor; not flashy.
• Background in hospitality, boutique hotels, design‑led cafés, events or retail preferred.
• Ability to notice small details that others may overlook.
