Information Technology Systems Manager

About the role

The IT Systems Manager will lead the design, implementation, and maintenance of technology‑enabled systems that streamline school operations and provide real‑time visibility for leadership. This role goes beyond traditional support, working cross‑functionally to turn inefficient processes into sustainable digital solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Review existing operational processes, identify gaps, and propose improvements.
• Design and implement digital workflows, databases, dashboards, and trackers.
• Map processes, define responsibilities, approval levels, and controls.
• Reduce reliance on informal, manual, or ad‑hoc communication methods.
• Provide management visibility through dashboards, reports, alerts, or scheduled reviews.
• Document systems and create clear Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Continuously evaluate systems for automation and enhancement opportunities.

Required profile

• Strong experience implementing or managing organizational systems.
• Analytical, systems‑oriented mindset with the ability to translate operational needs into digital solutions.
• Proven troubleshooting and problem‑solving abilities.
• Excellent documentation and process‑mapping skills.
