Geo Marketing & Research Specialist

About the role

The Geo Marketing & Research Specialist supports business growth and network investment decisions by delivering geo‑marketing analysis, market research, and performance monitoring. The role generates actionable insights to optimise network rollout, improve customer experience and boost commercial performance while collaborating closely with the Manager Geo Marketing & Research.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct geo‑marketing assessments to identify expansion opportunities and support site feasibility studies and business case development.
• Analyse population, economic activity, competition and customer demand using GIS tools to evaluate location potential.
• Perform competitor coverage analysis, market mapping and provide recommendations on site rollout, relocation and optimisation.
• Coordinate primary and secondary market research projects, design questionnaires and analyse customer behaviour, satisfaction and usage trends.
• Translate research findings into actionable recommendations for commercial and network teams.
• Monitor site performance across revenue, subscriber growth, traffic and utilisation; develop reports and dashboards for management.
• Identify under‑performing sites and propose corrective actions.
• Track competitor network rollout, pricing, products and market activities; produce intelligence reports.
• Collaborate with Commercial, Network, Finance, Strategy and regional teams to validate market opportunities and prepare executive presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Statistics, Economics, Geography, GIS, Business Analytics or a related field.
• At least 3 years of experience in market research, geo‑marketing, business intelligence or telecommunications analytics.
• Strong analytical and presentation skills with the ability to interpret data and communicate insights.

Required skills

• Proficiency with GIS and mapping tools (e.g., MapInfo, Google Earth).
• Experience in business case modelling and reporting tools.
