FTTX Project Manager (Fiber Optic Networks)

About the role

The FTTX Project Manager will lead the planning, execution, and delivery of fiber optic network projects (FTTH, FTTB, FTTC) across assigned regions. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and meet quality and safety standards while coordinating internal teams, vendors, and clients.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and manage end‑to‑end FTTX project deployment from initiation to handover.
• Coordinate with survey, design, and implementation teams for seamless execution.
• Monitor daily progress, resolve site and implementation issues, and ensure on‑time delivery.
• Manage contractors and vendors, enforcing quality standards and project requirements.
• Track material usage, control costs, and optimize resource allocation.
• Maintain project documentation, including as‑built drawings, trackers, and progress reports.
• Ensure compliance with safety, technical specifications, and company policies.
• Provide regular status updates and performance reports to management.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Telecommunications, Electronics, or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 5 + years experience in fiber optic network deployment projects.
• Strong knowledge of FTTX network design and implementation (FTTH/FTTB/FTTC).
• Proven experience in project planning, execution, and delivery management.
• Experience managing contractors and vendors in telecom infrastructure.
• Solid understanding of cost control, budgeting, and resource optimization.
• Familiarity with telecom installation standards, safety, and quality compliance.
