About the role
The Commi II supports the kitchen team in delivering high‑quality food service in a hotel or catering environment. Working under the Chef de Partie, you will help with food planning, preparation, production and daily stock control while maintaining strict hygiene and presentation standards.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in food planning, preparation and production according to company standards.
- Support daily kitchen operations, including stock control of food and beverage items.
- Implement instructions from the Chef de Partie and ensure proper portion control.
- Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene and cleanliness.
- Contribute to the quality management system and continuous improvement activities.
- Undertake additional tasks assigned by supervisors.
Required profile
- Diploma in Food Production or Culinary Arts.
- Food Handler Certificate from Port Health.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in hotel or catering.
- Polite, creative, good communication skills, self‑motivated and responsible.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
- General computer knowledge and ability to operate standard software.
- Willingness to work shift duties.
