Assistant Food & Beverage

About the role

The Assistant Food & Beverage supports the department manager in delivering high‑quality service across all hotel outlets. You will help ensure smooth daily operations, maintain service standards, and contribute to guest satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Implement service standards consistently across restaurants, bars and room service.
• Conduct operational checks to maintain quality, efficiency and safety.
• Assist in creating duty rosters, managing staff rotation and monitoring performance.
• Handle staff disciplinary matters according to company policy.
• Oversee opening and closing procedures, equipment handling and facility maintenance.
• Coordinate with kitchen and bar teams to ensure seamless service flow.
• Review daily sales reports, identify trends and support cost‑control initiatives.
• Help plan and execute special events, banquets and promotions.
• Maintain guest relations, including VIP handling during peak periods.
• Ensure compliance with licensing, health and safety regulations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Hospitality, Food & Beverage Service or a related field (preferred).
• 2‑3 years of experience as a Food & Beverage Assistant in a hotel or similar environment.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Team‑player attitude with flexibility to work varying shifts, weekends and holidays.
• Proficiency in English; additional languages are a plus.
