Warehouse Checker – Inventory & Stock Verification

About the role

The Warehouse Checker ensures that all goods moving in and out of the facility are accurately counted, verified and documented. Working on the warehouse floor, you will use handheld devices and ERP tools to maintain stock integrity and support smooth logistics operations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily physical counts of incoming and outgoing loads using handheld devices.
• Verify and reconcile digital or manual invoices, POS payments and stock movements in the ERP system.
• Apply FEFO/FIFO principles to maintain proper stock rotation and age standards.
• Inspect packaging quality before loading and ensure correct loading/unloading of vehicles.
• Generate variance reports, investigate discrepancies and propose corrective actions.
• Maintain 5S, health, safety and environmental standards, wearing required PPE.
• Communicate load plans and status with inventory, logistics, commercial and security teams.
• Document all internal stock transfers, breakages and issues accurately.

• Effective communication with warehouse, inventory and logistics stakeholders.
• Physical capability to load, unload and move goods safely.

Required skills

• Proficiency in using an ERP system for stock management.
• Experience with POS payment processing.
• Operation of handheld inventory devices.
