UX Designer – Fintech Device Financing

About the role

PalmPay is seeking a proactive UX Designer with experience in device financing or fintech products. You will create seamless, conversion‑driven user journeys for customers accessing financed devices, from onboarding through repayment, focusing on mobile‑first experiences for emerging markets.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end UX design for the device financing lifecycle (application, approval, disbursement, repayment).
• Translate complex credit and financing processes into simple, intuitive user flows.
• Conduct user research and usability testing to improve conversion and overall experience.
• Design wireframes, prototypes, and high‑fidelity interfaces for mobile platforms.
• Collaborate closely with product, engineering, and risk teams to ensure UX aligns with business, compliance, and technical requirements.
• Identify and resolve drop‑off points in the financing journey.
• Ensure clear communication of pricing, repayment terms, and penalties.

Required profile

• 3+ years of UX design experience, preferably in fintech, loan, BNPL, or asset‑financing products.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating data‑driven, user‑centered design solutions.
• Deep understanding of mobile‑first design for emerging‑market users.
• Ability to simplify complex financial concepts into clear user experiences.
• Experience working in fast‑paced, cross‑functional teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Figma or similar design tools.
