Creative Designer

About the role

Smart Codes is seeking a Creative Designer to join its fast‑paced creative team. You will work across digital, print, social, video and experiential platforms to produce bold, eye‑catching work for leading Tanzanian brands.

Key responsibilities

• Create engaging designs for offline channels, digital, print, social media, video and web.
• Conceptualise visual campaigns, product illustrations, branding assets and layouts.
• Ensure brand consistency across all output, following guidelines and client briefs.
• Collaborate with copywriters, strategists and marketing teams to bring campaigns to life.
• Present creative concepts to the Creative Director and internal teams, refining them based on feedback.
• Manage multiple projects, balancing deadlines while maintaining top‑quality output.
• Stay ahead of trends by exploring new design techniques, tools and technologies.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Creative Designer or similar role in an agency or fast‑paced environment.
• Strong portfolio showcasing design work across print, digital, video and social platforms.
• Excellent communication, presentation and time‑management skills.
• Ability to adapt quickly, handle feedback and deliver under tight deadlines.
• Creative thinker with an eye for detail and a passion for visual storytelling.
