Tyre Retreading Technician – Experienced Specialist

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Tyre Retreading Technician to join our diversified operations that span petroleum, logistics, transportation, and tyre manufacturing. The successful candidate will take ownership of the full retreading production cycle, ensuring high‑quality, safe, and efficient output.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect incoming used tyre casings and assess suitability for retreading.
• Operate and monitor tyre buffing equipment, maintaining correct radius, width, diameter, profile, and surface texture.
• Identify and repair casing injuries using skiving, filling, and other repair techniques.
• Conduct pre‑curing inspections for air pockets, wrinkles, gaps, misalignment, and other defects.
• Operate and monitor curing equipment such as autoclaves, curing chambers, or presses.
• Perform final inspection of retreaded tyres before release.

Required profile

• Technical Certificate, Diploma or equivalent in Tyre Technology, Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in tyre retreading/re‑threading production.
• Proven experience in a commercial tyre retreading plant, preferably with truck, bus, OTR or passenger‑car tyres.
• Ability to inspect tyre casings and determine retreading suitability.
