Training Officer

About the role

PalmPay, a fast‑growing Pan‑African fintech, is looking for a proactive Training Officer to empower its dealer, sales agent and collection teams. You will design and deliver engaging training programs that improve sales performance, customer onboarding and repayment discipline across the agent network.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver structured in‑person, online and blended training sessions for new and existing dealers, sales agents and collection staff.
• Run Train‑the‑Trainer programmes for team leaders and sales managers to build internal training capacity.
• Facilitate role‑play and simulation exercises to reinforce practical sales and collection skills.
• Plan and execute field visits, provide on‑site coaching, and identify performance gaps for targeted refreshers.
• Coordinate training logistics, maintain attendance records and evaluation reports, and support onboarding of new agents.
• Collect feedback, monitor key performance indicators, and produce regular training performance reports.
• Assist in adapting training materials for the Tanzanian market, including language localisation.

Required profile

• Proactive, results‑driven attitude with strong communication skills.
• Experience delivering training to sales or collection teams, preferably in a fintech or payments environment.
• Ability to travel for field coaching and to tailor training methods to diverse audiences.
• Strong organisational skills for managing training calendars and logistics.
