Technical Sales Engineer

About the role

Flowitec Group Limited is seeking a Technical Sales Engineer to drive sales of its pumps, valves and industrial engineering solutions across Tanzania. The role combines technical expertise with commercial acumen to identify opportunities and deliver tailored proposals to clients.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement sales strategies to expand market presence.
• Identify new business opportunities and promote the company’s product portfolio.
• Prepare technical proposals, quotations and presentations for prospective customers.
• Negotiate commercial terms and close sales agreements.
• Build and maintain long‑term relationships with clients throughout Tanzania.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to ensure solutions meet customer requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.
• 2–5 years of experience as a sales engineer, preferably in pumps, valves or industrial equipment.
• Strong technical understanding of engineering products and the ability to translate complex requirements into solutions.
• Excellent communication, analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects and work both independently and within a team.
• Willingness to travel across Tanzania as needed.
