Technical Director – Integrated Health Services

About the role

The Technical Director will lead the technical implementation of Faith and Community Initiative’s integrated health‑service model in Tanzania. Working closely with the Chief of Party and the Global FCI Technical Director, the role ensures that global strategies are adapted to the national context and delivered through government and faith‑based health facilities.

Key responsibilities

• Provide overall technical direction for FCI Tanzania, translating global technical strategy, standards, tools and protocols into a Tanzania‑specific framework.
• Oversee technical planning, implementation and coordination of services (HIV, TB, malaria, maternal and child health, nutrition) across government facilities, Christian Health Associations and other faith‑based organizations.
• Ensure alignment with Ministry of Health policies, donor requirements and FCI global technical policies.
• Strengthen referral, counter‑referral and continuity of care within a hub‑and‑spoke service‑delivery network.
• Lead continuous improvement of the integrated service‑delivery model, adapting it to Tanzania’s disease burden and national priorities.
