Store Keeper

About the role

A manufacturing company, represented by its client, is looking for a dedicated Store Keeper in Morogoro to oversee stock and warehouse operations. The role covers receiving, storing and dispatching products, keeping inventory levels under control and maintaining accurate stock records.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, store and dispatch products marketed by the company.
• Ensure all received and delivered products meet company standards.
• Manage inventory levels by monitoring stock rotation, availability and procurement.
• Maintain and update automated inventory databases.
• Conduct regular stock audits and reconcile discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of sales and stock restocking.
• Keep the warehouse clean, organized and compliant with safety regulations.
• Optimize inventory control procedures to minimize wastage and stock shortages.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (preferred) or a diploma in a related discipline.
• 2-5 years of experience in stock and warehouse management.
• Strong understanding of inventory control, stock tracking and reconciliation procedures.
• Experience with computerized inventory systems.
• Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
