Senior Sales & Marketing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Sales & Marketing professional to lead our sales and marketing initiatives across Tanzania and the wider East African region. Based in Dar es Salaam, this full‑time position offers a hybrid work arrangement, combining office presence with remote work.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to increase market share and revenue.
• Identify new business opportunities and manage key customer accounts.
• Coordinate promotional campaigns and support product launches.
• Lead, mentor and coach the sales team, set targets and monitor performance.
• Analyse market trends, competitor activities and prepare sales forecasts and reports.
• Collaborate with operations and technical teams to ensure customer requirements are met.
• Represent the company at industry events, deliver client presentations and maintain relationships with distributors, contractors and project partners.

Required profile

• Strong communication and negotiation skills with a customer‑service orientation.
• Proven experience in sales management, pipeline development and closing complex deals.
• Experience in training and coaching sales teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Several years of progressive sales and marketing experience, preferably in building materials, construction or related industries.
• Analytical mindset with ability to use data for strategic decisions.

• Familiarity with digital marketing channels.
