Senior Sales Executive

About the role

Karibu World, a leading travel management company in Tanzania, is seeking a Senior Sales Executive to expand its corporate and leisure client portfolio. The role is based in Dar es Salaam and involves driving revenue growth through new business acquisition and relationship management.

Key responsibilities

• Identify and pursue new business opportunities in corporate and leisure travel.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
• Prepare and present tailored travel proposals and pitches.
• Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
• Collaborate with operations and finance teams to ensure smooth service delivery.
• Represent Karibu World at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings.
• Maintain accurate records of leads, pipelines, and client interactions.

Required profile

• Minimum 5 years of sales experience, preferably in travel or related service industries.
• Strong understanding of P&L and how sales performance drives profitability.
• Excellent communication and negotiation abilities.
• Target‑focused with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales goals.
• Self‑motivated, results‑driven and able to work independently.
• Familiarity with the Dar es Salaam corporate landscape is a plus.
• Fluent in English and Swahili.
