Senior LV/HV Certified Electrical Technician

About the role

We are seeking a Senior LV/HV Certified Electrical Technician to join our team in Dar Es Salaam, Tanzania. The role involves hands‑on installation, maintenance and repair of low‑ and high‑voltage electrical systems on a variety of energy projects.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee installation, commissioning, and preventive maintenance of LV and HV equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve electrical faults to ensure optimal system performance.
• Ensure all work complies with Tanzanian electrical codes and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers, project managers and other technicians to meet project milestones.
• Perform on‑site inspections and quality checks at multiple project locations.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline.
• Valid LV/HV electrical technician certification.
• Minimum five years of experience in installation, maintenance and troubleshooting of LV/HV systems.
• Strong knowledge of local electrical codes and safety standards.

Required skills

• Low‑voltage electrical system installation and maintenance.
