Senior Investment Analyst

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Investment Analyst to join our team in Dar es Salaam, focusing on real‑estate investment and asset management across African markets. The role involves building robust financial models, conducting due diligence, and preparing investment or credit papers for senior decision‑makers.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain underwriting and feasibility models for live real‑estate transactions.
• Prepare concise investment and credit memoranda to support senior‑level decisions.
• Conduct market, regulatory and land‑title due diligence for prospective transactions.
• Analyze transaction documentation and assess associated risks.

Required profile

• 3–5 years of experience in real‑estate investment, asset management, developer business development, real‑estate credit, or property capital markets/valuation.
• Strong written English, independent judgement and willingness to relocate to Dar es Salaam and travel across African markets.
• Academic background in finance, economics, real estate, engineering, architecture or a related discipline.
• Progress towards CFA, MBA, MRICS or equivalent qualification is an advantage.

Required skills

• Advanced financial modelling including development and income‑asset models, sensitivity analysis and debt sizing.
• Scenario analysis and exposure to joint‑venture waterfall structures.
• Familiarity with transaction documentation, land‑title processes and due diligence.
• Ability to translate complex analysis into short, decision‑useful recommendations.
