Senior Designer Apparel

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Designer to lead the end‑to‑end design of kids apparel at Puma. You will shape both performance‑driven and street‑culture‑inspired collections, ensuring they align with the brand’s vision and consumer demand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the concept‑to‑product design process for versatile kids apparel, covering performance and lifestyle pieces.
• Integrate product and technical developments into design while maintaining high quality and brand positioning.
• Collaborate with graphic, footwear and accessories teams to deliver holistic 360° design concepts.
• Gather market intelligence on trends and translate insights into innovative design solutions.
• Mentor junior designers, provide coaching, and lead by example.
• Travel to factories to finalize prototypes and ensure design intent is met.
• Maintain design data in internal systems and adhere to the Puma development calendar.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in design or a related field.
• Minimum 6 years of design experience with leading fashion, lifestyle or sports brands.
• Experience in kids fashion or athletic apparel is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, excellent time‑management and ability to work autonomously or within a diverse team.
• Fluent English communication and presentation skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite.
• Knowledge of 3D design tools.
• Familiarity with AI‑powered design tools.
• Technical understanding of fabrics, materials and product development.
