About the role

The school seeks a dedicated Science Instructor to inspire middle‑ and high‑school students through hands‑on experiments, laboratory work, and a classical education philosophy. The role combines classroom teaching, lab management, and extracurricular leadership.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver science instruction in biology, physics, and chemistry following the school’s Charlotte Mason‑inspired pedagogy.
• Teach a middle‑ or high‑school mathematics course as needed.
• Design and conduct lab‑based lessons and manage lab supplies and inventory.
• Teach a robotics elective and lead the after‑school STEM club.
• Support students in developing habits of mind, heart, and body.
• Maintain positive, collaborative relationships with students, parents, and staff.
• Participate in staff meetings and professional development days.

Required profile

• Committed follower of Jesus Christ with active involvement in a local church.
• Passionate about safe, nurturing education and eager to adopt the school’s Charlotte Mason philosophy.
• Understanding of student development and ability to engage high‑school learners.
• Organized, detail‑oriented, and strong in classroom management.
• Professional oral and written communication skills.
• Experience working with high‑school students.
• Willingness to contribute to school life and culture with a service mindset.
• Holds a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a science discipline.
